One would think with all the technology and knowledge we have in 2012 we would be able to overcome and conquer obesity…right?!?! However reaches predict by the year 2030 near 80% of the American will be overweight or obese. Can you believer that…I am having a tough time chewing that bit of information. So let’s prove them wrong!!! Let’s take charge of our lives and start with a new and better America one person at a time.
Here are some baby steps to get you started on the right track.
1. Park in the furthest location at the next store you visit to make your walk to the front door a little longer. Plus no door dings!!!
2. DON’T STARVE yourself.
3. Eat small portions and eat every 2-3 hours
4. Drink a bottle of water before every meal to suppress your appetite.
5. Use a small plate rather then a normal size plate. There is less room for the extra food you don’t need.
6. Cut back on Soda, drink mostly tea and water. Drink maybe one soda a day or every few days.
7. Cut back on sweets. Don’t tell yourself you can’t have them, that’s just setting yourself up for failure. Reward yourself with a sweet treat once a week.
8. Get moving, if you enjoy dancing, turn on your favorite tunes for 10 minutes and rock out. Great stress relievers also.
We do not have to fall victim to obesity we can make small changes to better our health. With the small changes and results you will feel empowered to step it up and live a healthier live style.
